The college central library is located in the Institutional building occupying 607 Sq.m. The library is open to the students and staff members from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days and on Saturdays from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

The library has a rich collection of 18328 volumes of textbooks and reference books in all branches of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and General studies and the collection is ever increasing.

The books are classified according to the Dewey decimal classification system. Open access system is followed in the library..

Circulation of Books

All the books in the library are bar-coded; bar code system is followed in all transactions of the library

Periodical Section

The management has subscribed 24 printed national journals and 26 magazines including the subscription of IEEE online. The library receives regularly journals and newsletters from organizations and societies like IEEE and CSI provide the staff and students’ latest information on technical education, research and development activities.

Electronic Library

The Electronic Library section now has a rich collection of more than 900 CD-ROMs. Digital Library The digital library has provided with 25 numbers of Computers to access online resources to the students and staff, in addition WI-FI enable online access has been provided in the central library.

Institutional Membership

The College has institutional membership with British Council library, Chennai. The staff and students can borrow books, journals and CDs& DVDs using the BCL library membership card.

OPAC

The library is equipped with computerized On-line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for searching availability of books and CD-ROMs. Barcode system is followed in all transactions.
