Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Introduction
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2012 with the student intake of 60. Presently, the department offers 4 years- B.E. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) course. The Faculty members available in the department are specialized in all streams of Electrical and Electronics Engineering such as Power Systems, Power Electronics and Drives, Embedded control of drives, Control and Instrumentation and Applied Electronics. A number of faculty members are undergoing Ph.D. Programme in the area of Power Electronics and drives, Power systems and special machines. The department is fully equipped with latest systems and apparatus in the Electrical machines, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Power System Simulation, Embedded Systems, Measurements and Instrumentation laboratories.
