Dr. N. Bhalaji
Principal - Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology

Dr. N. Bhalaji has a distinguished academic career spanning over two decades. After his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, he earned a PhD specializing in the area of Trust-Based Routing for MANETs from Anna University, Chennai.
Dr. Bhalaji's research interests encompass the application of Trust in information and communication domains, with a particular focus on cutting-edge areas like the Internet of Things and Blockchain Technologies. His other interests include Machine learning algorithms and their pivotal role in enhancing Cybersecurity. Additionally, Dr. Bhalaji holds a Certified Ethical Hacking certification from EC-Council, Certified Crime Intervention Officer (ISAC) and Certified Blockchain Associate (IBM & KBA). He also serves as a recognized proctor for CompTIA Examinations, a globally acclaimed certification agency.
Dr. Bhalaji's research output comprises of over sixty articles published in SCI-E and Scopus indexed publications and successfully guided eight PhD scholars of Anna University, Chennai.
Supplementing his engineering qualifications, he has earned a Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and currently doing the Executive MBA program at IIM Kozhikode.
Dr. Bhalaji has spearheaded initiatives that foster innovation and entrepreneurship. He is recognised as a MARG Mentor under Startup India and a StartupTN Mentor, actively guiding and mentoring over ten promising start-ups. He has also been trained in the Innovation Ambassador program accredited by NITI Aayog.
Dr. Bhalaji's extensive expertise has found practical applications in numerous industrial consultancy projects in entities such as HCL Tech Bee, Blue Lotus Technologies, and Redington CSR. His active participation in professional societies such as ACM, IEEE, and IAENG showcases his commitment to knowledge exchange and acquiring industry best practices.

Dr. Sundar R
Director - Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology

Dr. Sundar completed his Bachelor's degree, B.E. (ECE), in 1979 at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and his Masters degree, M. Tech, in 1981 at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He obtained Ph.D in 1994 from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has over 38 years of combined academic and industrial experience. He had been a faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1987 till 1999. From 1999 till 2011, he has been in the Industry driving, guiding and mentoring technical teams in state-of-the-art development and implementation of systems solutions and products. Listed below are some of the major activities handled by him when in Industry.

• System-on-Chip Architectures for VOIP Gateway with multiple RSIC processors and DSPs
• SoCs for multimedia Phone
• Custom Smartphone Implementation
• Real-time video streaming solutions over wireless network for military surveillance
• Hardware subsystem for helmet mounted Display, Camera and IR ranging solution

From November 2011, he was heading the Department of ECE at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai. From 2014, he was heading the “Centre for Sponsored Research and Consultancy” and the "Centre of Excellence in Machine Vision - A TIFAC-CORE Lab"at Rajalakshmi Engineering College. Currently, he is the Director of Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology.
His areas of specialization include Machine-Vision Solutions, MEMS & Microfluidics, Video-Streaming-over-IP, System-on-Chip Architectures, Voice-over-Packet Systems, Embedded Systems Design, Digital Signal Processing, Speech Technologies, Digital Systems and VLSI Design.
He has several research publications & conference papers to his credit. He has several on-going and completed sponsored projects from DRDO-ER & IPR, DST-TSDP, DST-IDP, GTRE-DRDO, RCI-DRDO and DST-Sensors in different areas of technology.
