About Institution

Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology started in the year 2008, under the aegis of Sabari Foundation. Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology looks at education differently. The college grooms students academically, professionally and personally for a successful career. The college prepares students with diverse abilities, talents and interests to meet the new realities, challenges and requirements of the global market. The college aims not only to impart knowledge but also helps the students to be technocrats with high personal integrity. While encouraging liberal learning, the institution also nurtures ethical standards and values. The college has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi & Government of Tamil Nadu and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is certified by the ISO 9001:2008 for academic standards.

About Department

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 2008.The mission of CSE department is to produce globally competent and highly employable professionals, who will be innovative in solving real world problems. The vision of CSE department is to empower the students with high quality technical education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering to face the challenges of modern computing industry and research for the positive contributions to the society. The BE(CSE) program has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation(NBA) for the years 2016-19. The department has MoUs signed with ARM University, LinuXperts Systems, etc. The department has been awarded “Best Accredited Student Branch Award" for the year 2014-15 and 2016-17 by the Computer Society of India for the contribution through society body. NCDSIIT’18 is supported by CSI and Technically supported by IEEE.

About Conference

National Conference on Data Science and Intelligence Information Technology (NCDSIIT) started in 2017 aiming to be a flagship in the data science and Information science. Data driven intelligent analysis is an important emerging paradigm for computing in areas including social, service, Internet of Things, sensor networks, telecommunications, health-care and cloud. The first was held at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology in 2017 which was also very successful. The Second Conference NCDSIIT’18 provides a premier forum that brings together researchers, industry practitioners, as well as potential users of data science, big data and advanced analytics, to promote collaborations and exchange of ideas and practices, discuss new opportunities and investigate the best actionable analytics framework for wide range of applications. It covers all data science and Information science related areas, including Artificial Intelligence, statistical, probabilistic and mathematical methods, machine learning, data and business analytics, data mining and knowledge discovery, infrastructure, storage, retrieval and search, privacy and security, relevant applications, practices, tools and evaluation. NCDSIIT’18 will consist of four main Tracks: Data Processing Technology, Data System & Application, Intelligent Information Technology and Intelligent System Engineering. Data processing technology involves using computers to enter, process and manage data. Data processing technicians are experts in many different types of computer technologies, including software for word processing, spreadsheets, design, database management and desktop publishing. Data System & Application are posing many challenges in exploiting parallelism of current and upcoming computer architectures. Data volumes of applications in the fields of sciences and engineering, finance, media, online information resources, etc. are expected to double every two years over the next decade and further. The importance of data intensive systems has been raising and will continue to be the foremost fields of research. Intelligent information technology (IIT) for the purpose of education within the blended learning paradigm. The technology is based on the construction of mixed diagnostic tests (MDTs) used for decision-making. Each MDT represents a compromise between unconditional and conditional components. Intelligent System (IS) can be defined as the system that incorporates intelligence into applications being handled by machines. Intelligent systems perform search and optimization along with learning capabilities. Different types of machine learning such as supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning can be modelled in designing intelligent systems.
